As promised on Monday in the blog post A Yankee Barn Cottage on Lake Champlain, today’s post deals with the interior layout (floor plan) for the cottage named The Sunapee. In this post you’ll get a clear look as to how the interior of the home is configured. Please be assured, at Yankee Barn this by no means implies this is the only way to arrange this home’s floor plan. We not only understand each client’s requirements are individual, but are ready, willing and able to work from any given floor plan or assist the customer in creating his/her own layout.
Yankee Barn Homes Sunapee Cottage Main Level Floor Plan
The main level layout is divided into two living spaces; public (the entry, kitchen and living room) and the other space is used for private space (laundry, pantry, half-bath, and master suite). The porch adds a great deal of social living space to the main level during warm weather months.
Yankee Barn Homes Sunapee Cottage Second Level Floor Plan
The second level layout makes excellent use of the smaller available floor space. Two more bedrooms (plus an office easily converted to a third upstairs bedroom), with a shared bath and a generous walk-in storage area) fit easily into the smaller amount of second level square footage. All while accommodating a first level entry cathedral ceiling.
